Celebrities?

i totally have no fate with celebrities. i mean like compared to any teenager’s childhood; chasing after celebrities is probably a part of their childhood. Going for concerts, fan-meeting… etc etc. ME? None of these. Sad to say, i’ve never even been to a concert before. Yeah i know; that’s so saddening and shocking to some of you right? Its like WHAT?? Such a no life. One thing, my parents don’t support “fandom” at nor. Not to say buying music albums! I suppose around 10years ago? I had a hard time trying to buy F4′s Fantasy 4ever album… as well as their drama “Meteor Garden”, had to beg and plead like hell.
I’d say dad’s even worst. He’s even more against kpop boybands and hates the fact that i like to spend time painting them in photoshop 
I doubt i’m gonna care more about that- there’s nothing wrong with being a fan. Besides, living in france; I can hardly ever meet any of my idols. So if one of these days, DBSK or SE7EN decide to visit Singapore while I’m in france, I’d definitely cry 
Celebrities huh- then thursday morning (i broke my daily blog entries 
) i found that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, will be appearing at the cinema; which is exactly next to my work place on friday evening for his movie premiere… and i was like WOOOA; I wanted to watch Day and Knight cuz it looks so funny! Besides how many times do you get to watch a tom cruise movie with him in the theatre? I mean it’s cool right? Well- I couldn’t go in the end. Cuz it was the Tour de France, many main roads and public transport has been closed. And in the end, my boss said, ahh- that’s so troublesome! Plus it’s friday! You’ll be finishing earlier- it’d be best if you worked at home and save all the trouble. Okay cool; opportunity gone
Like always, meeting celebrities- its like how I used to love Shinhwa soo much! And they went to Singapore for their concert in september 2006! I was saving up for the best seats, but again, I couldnt go, because it was on a Sunday night, and the next day morning I have an english prelim paper

After a long day- of irritating coding and wasteful modification, I decided to paint something. It’s been 3 weeks+ since I’ve painted! Miss the feeling of it, well- actually I wanted to change style. But it didn’t work. So I thought I’d try to blend it as much as possible, making it “mat” looking now. I think i spent around 5hours just on SE7EN’s face! I intended to print it out on A2 size, but think again, it might bring me unwanted trouble. 
So we shall see;
this is what i’ve continued today. I think i’m kinda slow suddenly. I spent the whole morning on it. And bits of pieces during the rest of the day. So i think ~7hours today? tsk tsk; not much advanced though…. Hope I can finish it by tomorrow? Well- We shall see!

Hi! I really do love your digital paintings. I also want to do some and be as good as you in the future. Do you have any tips you can give for a beginner like me? If that’s okay with you.

And, I would like to ask, do you trace photos when you do digital paintings or you make them out of nothing with just a reference photo?? )
