#Throwbackthursday with my parents back last month in Jardin du Chateau de Versailles. It was my parent’s 30th Anniversary. Mom wanted to do a photobook, so as the art director of the house, I brought them to Jardin du Chateau de Versailles. The last time we went there was probably somewhat 10 years ago. Of course there’s tones of photos taken. A lot of failed ones actually, but it was funny. 30 years have passed for them and I’m 24!! I guess I’ve given them a good amount of years of my rebellion and stubborness.  Now that I’m hitting a quarter of my life, considering if I’m living a hundred years old  I should start and be more sensible about my life, things I wanna do. Things I needa do. Speaking of things I needa do, I’d like to move again. But moving in Paris seems to be so damnRead More +

Damned . Can’t believe that I’ve been missing again for so long. Moving and settling down takes so much time and trouble, and much crazy headache for serious slowpoke technicians . Now I think I can finally say, I’m settled. But right after everything seems to be fixed in the new place, I’m back to my hometown for a short relaxation holiday. Here I am, sitting in my quiet living room, finally posting these. 24 Rue des Franc Bourgeois was almost a place where I could call it my new place. But I couldn’t battle rich income lawyers with their extraordinary status and their equally rich parent guarantors – and so I lost my chance renting this perfect place. Why can’t they pick a bigger apartment with their better pay?! Now, where exactly is this place? Its in the heart of Les Marais. 3rd and 4th district in Paris. EasilyRead More +

C for Chinatown

It may seem a little funny to certain people. I’ve found my own space after all these times in Paris. Of all places that I wanted, only the 13th district wanted me. The Chinatown in Paris Well, because it’s a friend of a friend’s place. I didn’t have a choice actually- or I’d be kicked out of that princessy room I had previously. After I told some of my new friends that I’m living near Chinatown, I got all those mockery about being such a cliché. I get it (being a Chinese, living in the Chinese district- couldn’t I be more creative?), the funnier thing is- a lot of my neighbors are Chinese too But who cares, I finally have my own peace of mind now. I’m in my new place for almost 2 weeks now. Still trying to adapt, getting things like internet to work. Getting more things toRead More +

Christmas is coming earlier thanks to a friend, Paula. Well- a friend of friend, who wanted to go to Chanel, which was a very bad move. I never thought that I’d leave with a bag in my hands, which I did. I got myself that pair of Chanel espadrilles which every fashion bloggers seem to have. I got it in leather though. When I tried it in the boutique, it was so smooth and comfty. I was totally sold on the spot. After being told that it was the brand new stock delivery and they only had one size for each shoe model, it convinced me further more to buy it. I left the shop all happy and smiling hoping that summer is around the corner. Paris is a really beautiful city especially during this festive season. Light decorations are up everywhere. People are buzzing around everywhere preparing christmas presentsRead More +

And YES. I’ve finally moved to Paris. New journey begins as imma step into the adulthood of working life! The thing that I’ve always been ranting about since being a poor student! It ain’t easy looking for housing, for someone as picky as I am plus all the add ons of little criterias that could improve my life, plus some problematical issues, I gave up. Through contacts, I found myself in this beautiful apartment. It has the biggest bedroom I ever had and a princess bathroom with surrounding mirrors to admire myself (just kidding ). Unfortunately, internet doesn’t reach my room So I’m forced to keep my iMac outside my room. Funnily internet only reach to my room’s door So it’s kinda sad for me, I thought I could enjoy watching movies on my huge bed with a view! but my plan failed for now I haven’t met any ofRead More +

Probably over 10 years have passed since I last stepped into a Hippodrome. My memory of it over the past few years, the hippodrome was a pretty old one. There were even ponies, for kids to ride. The place wasn’t exactly clean with those ponies littering around So my overall impression of the hippodrome was smelly, dirty and messy. Now 10 years later, the hippodrome had been completed renovated. Over 2 million euros was spent (if I wasn’t wrong) and was newly inaugurated in 2013. I was shocked when I walked it. Smell of the summer heat, lots of people, solid walk ways instead of soil. Everything was clean and perfectly new. Hippodrome is all about horse racing and betting. I didn’t participate in that. I merely went as there was an event with dad’s company. I thought I should give the place a new chance! Isabelle love horses, soRead More +

Oh yeah! Goodbye 2012! Happy 2013! And who was saying the world would end on the 21st Dec 2012? I personally didn’t believe for a second. I’m doing my yearly ritual of summing up 2012! Looking through my posts throughout the year, 2012 didn’t feel that exciting. Maybe it’s because I lack of pretty photos! Let’s get started with my summary
