I’m home for a short while! It’s terrible how I always bring the north rain clouds home. Look at those scary dark clouds. In fact, it was already drizzling in the town before. Damn, the temperature isn’t shooting up either. So after wading in the sand for a while, frozen ears and plouf it’s time to leave. Behold, I’ve just realized I’ve magic powers to manipulate the sea  Have you notice how my power have made the waves and boat dance to my rythme? (chokes— Ahaha) I previously thought I got some kinda food poisoning. Somehow it turned out to be some unbalanced stuffs happening inside my ear and caused my head to spin constantly and terribly for the past two days…

I’ve never really followed political stuffs. All those were just too complicated for my simpleton brain. But today, Singapore’s founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away at the age of 91, really like a grandfather figure for us 90’s kids. Tons of articles flooded my facebook stream. Couldn’t help it, but a tear ran when Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long made the announcement of the passing our founding father. His father. The long pause when he changed language addressing the public was so heart wrenching. “You begin your journey not knowing where it will take you. You have plans, you have dreams, but every now and again you have to take uncharted roads, face impassable mountains, cross treacherous rivers, be blocked by landslides and earthquakes. That’s the way my life has been.” “If things go wrong, do not sweep them aside. Confront the problems, get to the root ofRead More +

Oh yes, Hi! Previously, in December. There’s quite a lot of happenings. I’ve been to three road trips, set off a fire alarm because of smoking bacons. Celebrated early Christmas with colleagues   Happily showing off my new namecards Been busy cooking and experimenting as well. Plus- the fact that my dear cousin is breathing the same air -spanned- across 600km, still feels like a dream to me. So aye, a sneak peak for what’s to come. Goodness, I still have my stash of rotting photos from the Autoshow. I’m not sure when will I ever share them now…

Weee!! Before the very first day of 2015 ends, let me wish everyone a maximum of happiness and joy to come, be in great health and all the best in your work or school of 2015. Imma embrace new challenges, try new things, meet more people, BUFF UP MY COURAGE LEVEL. Step across that bloody line! In fact, I think my 2014 had been a very normal year. I mean yes- it’s been a very different year, changing status from student to a full-fledged adult (I know I’ve changed status ever since September 2013, but 2014 is the year I started to live as an adult officially (argh), paying full entrance fees to exhibitions hurts the pocket quite a bit. DAMNIT- Like everyone used to say, I didn’t sign up for these shit, all these paperworks Overall, 2014 didn’t have any major events. So hopefully, 2015 would end with a bang. IRead More +

It’s super interesting to know that, I got to know Felicia on my blog.  Apparently she used to stalk my blog some time ago -and she still does (hopefully), no longer leaving anonymous comments  . In fact, she got to “know” me through one of my best friends. The first time I actually met her real-life was a little awkward. Just smiles and simple hello. Fast forward a few years, Felicia started flying on Singapore Airlines and she’d pop by to Paris from time to time. Soon, we clicked correctly- no more awkward silent smiles. It’s the first time we took selfies. She’d bring me tones of awesome food that I miss from Singapore. We will spend a day or two walking around the streets –window shopping– (most of the time) and eating good food, including the funny ritual to have at least a korean meal or japanese bento.  Can’tRead More +

Can’t believe that when I said I was falling sick, it literally happened in one afternoon. But now I’m all alive and better! Well, it started with running nose when I woke up, then serious running nose in the afternoon, and boom. That night I couldn’t sleep at all because my nose was so stuffed that I couldn’t breathe. And unfortunately, I didn’t have any nasal sprays or effective cold medicine with me. I spent the previous weekend tossing and flipping around on my bed, unable to sleep. This is the first time ever that happened to me. Being unable to sleep, I mean. In my daily chat groups, the first thing I say in the morning never fails to be I’m SO SLEEPY First time since probably 16 years, I had insomnia for 3 days straight. And I am seriously afraid of having insomnia… Followed by sudden raise ofRead More +

It’s a one week holiday for me to be back in my countryside. But it appears that I have returned too early. The temperatures are too low for summer, technically its 21 degrees celsius, but July’s suppose to be 27 degrees at least. Constant menace from those dark clouds and drizzles from time to time definitely spoil my mood for holiday. I was seriously expecting some healthy heat and off bouncing on the beach but no, such disappointment It’s been two years since my last visit. I can’t get enough of this place. My fingers and camera were set on automatic mode that constantly clicks non stop. For the first time, we have decided to leave our shoes at the bottom of the dune, hiding them on the trees. And yeah we did find them back when we were back down It took me a shorter time than I’ve expectedRead More +
