It’s super interesting to know that, I got to know Felicia on my blog.  Apparently she used to stalk my blog some time ago -and she still does (hopefully), no longer leaving anonymous comments  . In fact, she got to “know” me through one of my best friends. The first time I actually met her real-life was a little awkward. Just smiles and simple hello. Fast forward a few years, Felicia started flying on Singapore Airlines and she’d pop by to Paris from time to time. Soon, we clicked correctly- no more awkward silent smiles. It’s the first time we took selfies. She’d bring me tones of awesome food that I miss from Singapore. We will spend a day or two walking around the streets -window shopping- (most of the time) and eating good food, including the funny ritual to have at least a korean meal or japanese bento.  Can’tRead More +

Can’t believe that when I said I was falling sick, it literally happened in one afternoon. But now I’m all alive and better! Well, it started with running nose when I woke up, then serious running nose in the afternoon, and boom. That night I couldn’t sleep at all because my nose was so stuffed that I couldn’t breathe. And unfortunately, I didn’t have any nasal sprays or effective cold medicine with me. I spent the previous weekend tossing and flipping around on my bed, unable to sleep. This is the first time ever that happened to me. Being unable to sleep, I mean. In my daily chat groups, the first thing I say in the morning never fails to be I’m SO SLEEPY First time since probably 16 years, I had insomnia for 3 days straight. And I am seriously afraid of having insomnia… Followed by sudden raise ofRead More +

It’s a one week holiday for me to be back in my countryside. But it appears that I have returned too early. The temperatures are too low for summer, technically its 21 degrees celsius, but July’s suppose to be 27 degrees at least. Constant menace from those dark clouds and drizzles from time to time definitely spoil my mood for holiday. I was seriously expecting some healthy heat and off bouncing on the beach but no, such disappointment It’s been two years since my last visit. I can’t get enough of this place. My fingers and camera were set on automatic mode that constantly clicks non stop. For the first time, we have decided to leave our shoes at the bottom of the dune, hiding them on the trees. And yeah we did find them back when we were back down It took me a shorter time than I’ve expectedRead More +

Been sometime since I had a long weekend back home to my folks. But I didn’t have much luck with Mr Sunshine, who’s constantly playing hide and seek. The cold wind didn’t play well with my luggage either. I only brought shorts and skirts Bearing the 15-18 degrees of cold wind from the beach, I still managed to walk around throughout the weekend in shorts without any stockings Urgh, talk about the drizzle there was from time to time. I didn’t want to give up my ritual visiting my favorite beach town, Arcachon. Despite the cold wind, and empty streets, with the late sunset, I kinda drag dad to drive along to Arcachon to snap some photos. It was like half past eight, the sun is setting, Mr Sunshine is partly out to play when everyone’s gone home. Plus I’ve decided to dye my hair violet- (mum did actually), IRead More +

It’s crazy how that it’s been already a month since I came back from Singapore! Time flies so fast when you have so much to do. I have so many stuffs to share, but I guess, loyal readers have be disappointed in my activity. In which I thought that I should show a bit of sneak peak that would be my scheduled posts. Two weeks back to my homeland, with Chinese New Year around, I didn’t have enough time visiting and catching up with everyone. I didn’t managed to eat all the food that I wanted to, which is really disappointing and depressing considering that I don’t know when I’m coming back. Being away for one year and a half, I guess two weeks really isn’t enough either. Plus minus the time visiting far-away-I-think-I’ve-met-you-once relatives, I have even less than two weeks. But maybe on the good side, I’ve collectedRead More +

Woops, I’m half a month late. I should really give more thought about maintaining this place. Soon, the Exquisistic box will be 5 years old. I can’t imagine that I’ve been blogging for that long. I’ve hidden half of all my older posts to private. Sometimes reading my older posts, I feel like such a kid back in 2009 to now the more mature version of myself. It’s already mid January 2014, it felt like only yesterday when I went out dining with some new friends on New Year’s Eve. TWO – O – ONE – FOUR. Which means I’m going to be 24. Soon 25 then, mid twenties. I haven’t achieved much in the first quarter of my life (let’s say imma live till 100), I’m still settling myself in this new city. It’s really difficult when you don’t have any real friends. Thinking of how I finally graduatedRead More +

You know the asian’s culture towards the whiteness of your skin, the fairer you are means the prettier / better in your life. This theory also applies to my family but as you can see I am not a fan of it. Who cares about being all pale. I like being tanned, it’s a sign of a good holiday. Lucky me, Isabelle and Letty popped by to my rescue to the beach. It was just a simple day of fun out near the sea, watching seagulls fly, picking out seashells… Credit Photos to
