Yummiliscious Haagen Dazs Redesign 12 Notes 31st May

Many of you know that I am a heavy ice cream eater, and to be more specific Haagen Dazs! It’s freaking expensive in Singapore for the amount you get. I hardly ever eat them nor tasted them before I was 17-18yrs old! Until I came to France to realize that they are so much cheaper! Thus it become my habit of having ice cream as my daily desert! It must be shocking to some of you! But I can control myself ;) I just managed to split one whole tub for 7 days! Or the 4 days when the days gets warmer!
Now that I moved to Paris, my usual supermarket Carrefour isn’t around the corner anymore! Neither do I have my car just 5 meters away from where I am. So hunting for reasonable priced Haagen Dazs make it a lot more difficult! I’m left with the ONE and ONLY last tub and it’s frustrating! I don’t feel “secure” in my own head. I know it sounds crazy!
So then, there’s promotions in Carrefour market for 3 tubs of Haagen Dazs at 9.90€ instead of 5.20-5.98€ a TUB! But then again, it seems like these promotions are available EVERYWHERE… EXCEPT PARIS.. Dang it! It’s the weekend already! I guess I would spend this weekend searching through different Carrefour Market looking for this promotion!

I managed to snap photos of my previous HD purchase during the 2nd one at 50%. I wanted to complain a little about their new packaging.

The older packaging had golden lids and the new one had red lids. I’m kinda sad that they took away the golden colors. I thought their main principles was “premium ice cream”, and the red lids didn’t represent any “premium” notions in it in my opinion. I can understand that they want to lift their image a bit to the younger generations. But sometimes I think it’s nice to keep it a little more old school.

Yummiliscious Smoked Salmon & Cream Mushroom 3 Notes 29th May

I think i can totally convert into some food blogger! After a short discussion over what to eat for dinner earlier, i finally settled with smoked salmon & cream mushroom pasta! I think i saw some photos of pasta last few days, so i do admit that I had a little urge to eat pasta!

I dare say that this presentation look pretty and delicious right? Anyway, I didn’t really search for a recipe online. I just cooked based on my little pasta experience! Besides my knowledge of ingredients is quite a mess~ Like what is crème fraîche in english? or what is 钛白粉 (i don’t even know if it’s written correctly in chinese!) in english! So even if i search for recipes online, i might not be able to find all the ingredients i need! So continue reading if you wanna see how i cooked it!

Photoblog Buttes Chaumont 2 Notes 28th May

I’m finally down to blogging! I wanted to do it last night, but i was too tired and my eyes were hurting! :S
Imma split it into many different sections! But first I’m blog about the latest Parisien Suntanning yesterday! It’s a very sad case for me. It seems like i’m always easily forgotten by people here. Originally planned to go to Muji on saturday and maybe getting the possibility to catch a glimpse of Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev etc etc~ The Vampire Diaries cast at Forum les Halles. But I waited whole day for a message from my friend, to know that they spent a bit too much time on their stuffs and literally forgotten about me. Great! So I kinda spent saturday doing nothing. I ended up watching the last episodes of King2Hearts. And i seriously cried a lot watching the end, well~ It did ended well!

I have these super urges to blog these days. I’ve been wanting to go out and explore Paris with a camera in my hand. I mean, this is the perfect chance right? Yet I can’t seem to find the perfect partner to accompany me. Until Sarah posted on facebook to ask who’s keen to go out walking on a sunday afternoon! Plan up in a jiffy, within 2hours I was out after I finished cleaning up the house, eating a bit.

We decided to go to Buttes Chaumont, in the 19th District. It’s a huge montainy park. I described it as a montainy park because there’s ridiculously a lot of slopes to climb! There’s also a cave and valley in it. Definitely not your everyday park!
