Silent Xmas

I can say that this year’s end year celebration is going to be so mega silent and probably a declared fifth war in the house.
My hectic week’s over; I slept through the first weekend of my break. Feels like I can never catch up on those sleep that I lost. I practically slept the whole saturday and sunday and only waking up to eat lunch and dinner. Then finally slacked up on monday to find me new ideas to improve my portfolio. Then after a week+ of coding, it’s up!
time to send letters for internship. i’m seriously mega worried about it. I just hope design agency will accept me!
Now then, the recent christmas! I suppose everyone’s christmas is much more lively then mine!
Unlike Singapore culture, where christmas turns the whole town upside down with parties and events going on in every clubs, in France, christmas turns the whole town dead. Went to shop in town, but shops started closing at 5pm… and I originally had a family and friends dining out at a chinese/japanese buffet restaurant. Our rdv was at 7pm. And by 6, all, seriously ALL shops are practically closed. No choice but sat in the car and wait till 7pm for the restaurant to open!
On the way to our restaurant….. the sky is getting darker already!
And zoomed passed the christmas market; we thought it was already too late to visit. But i think; we should have stopped by and walk around the xmas market
Snapped the photos on the car, not that awesome! Plus those not-so-pretty barriers blocking the roads!
I didn’t snap any nice photos at the restaurant, it felt sooo awkward!
I like the 美食坊 buffet pretty much because of the sashimi. But then in the end, I can’t wait for the sashimis and aunty kim asked the boss about it. She said that they don’t cater sashimis anymore because once it is out, everyone just snatch that up! And customer’s speed of eating sashimi were too fast, and it was expensive too. But then since we asked about it, the boss decided to treat us two plates of free sashimi :D
One thing I like about them is because they are always smiling
And always come and greet us individually with a handshake ;) And offered us a free aperitif too. It’s as though we have gained a new friend, unlike the chi/jap buffet around my town, even though it’s been years that my family know them, every single cent counts! And they give off the feeling that those cents were originally theirs.
After a long dinner; it’s time to head home
It’s only like 10pm when I reach my house. And decided to visit the streets behind my house. Very interesting event. Those houses when come to end year season, would be decorated with many lights when night falls! And many residents from the town would visit this very street to look like decoration of these houses! Even the town council sent a mail to all the families around the corner to let residence know that the street would be closed down to a one-way lane so that people can walk around and visit!
There’s even a mini Eiffel tower
That’s about it. It was freezing cold at night, already -1 degrees around 10+ and I wasn’t really properly covered; so I didn’t really walk the whole street!
By the time i got home, it wasn’t even 12 yet, so yeah I spent the countdown in front of the TV, where they were showing Stefan, LOL or Paul Wesley. I got a shocked; and quickly googled it, it was before the Vampire Diaries
The Fallen, the idea kinda made me laugh, cuz it was like, so before becoming the undead, you were originally a half angel
Speaking of vampire diaries…. ANYONE CAN TELL ME WHERE TO WATCH IT?
Damn it, funshion decided to remove all of them… i have no idea where to watch it anymore, any suggestions?

i need a miracle

oh gosh; deadly week. and another DEADLY week to suffer; piles and piles of work; and everyday next week; there’s a major submission that’d be dued.
i need a miracle! everday when the clock ticks at 8PM, my automatic lousy body clock is making me yawn non stop. and this is serious trouble. if i sleep at 8 everyday; my assignments will never be finished! Does anyone have a magic potion to save me? Or a magic wand and with a flick; my stupid paper catalogue could be done, nicely printed/cut/made into a wire-binded book?
I really need this want!
But i still managed to pull some time taking photos; LOL

I’m still saddened by the fact that I couldn’t recover the Vuitton invitation card, nor clever enough to snap a photo of it before hand, and these were the souvenirs in return.

Well to clear things up, uncle daniel is slightly more that the double of my AGE! LOL do the maths yourself! I think I knew him since i was 12 or something?

And the remaining chocolates! Still don’t really bear to open them up to eat! Maybe i will wait till Christmas!

Louis Vuitton Cocktail

thinking about how I’ve missed the cocktail every year! Goodness I’ve missed out good stuffs! 
Having stayed in France for maybe euh- *lazy to count* (rounding up to) 10years, the first time i stepped into Louis Vuitton was when I was 9. The staff kinda watched me grew up, which seems to be rather cool putting it this way, some total stranger. Ha..
My family is a louis vuitton lover, well less recently. LOL they think that we should put the money for better use instead of splurging on luxurious vuittons. This year, upon receiving their oh-so-pretty invitation card; WHICH WAS GIVEN BACK TO THEM 
, i said, no way! this time WE MUST GO! Since we never actually attended their V.I.P cocktails! Then a few days later, they sent their new collection catalogue which was soo pretty too!
The event was held earlier today!
I was a litte stressed out, because the invitation card wrote for 2 person, but mom and dad kinda invited our family friends along. All is well ;) We went in together, they welcomed us warmly and said no worries. HA,
When I first got there, I felt totally out of picture. Firstly, i feel a little underdressed. 
They even have a pro photoshoot area with a photographer and instant photo printer. Like WOA! Until Aunty Elise and Uncle Boxter came, I felt slightly better. LOL

Then it was Dad. He decided to splurge, since he complained about not shopping etc. LOL Actually mum wanted one of the Graphite Damier sling bag. Dad was on for it, for mum at first. But now, it seems like it’s for Dad, he’s so happy! LOL
Moving on to other sections. Scarves!
I’ve always liked scarves, i’ve been browsing through their collection online over and over again. LOL Never thought about really buying it until today. Ha; thanks to Aunty Elise actually. She kicked off all our temptation buds

That sunglass, looks like it’d never be mine even if I can save up for it. In Singapore when I tried it, the saleslady told me that it’s a male collection. Today, the saleslady told me it’s mix. Which made me happier. It didn’t matter if it was male, I would want to get it anyway. But then IT WAS TOO BIG 
And they dont have size for it. So even if I’m rich like hell, I can’t get it either! I superrr LOVEE the golden part on it. Oh well, it was never fated to be mine then.
On the good side, that means my head isn’t that big that I thought; LOL
It’s seriously damn comfortable!
Moving on to other section. Looking at their new clutch bags. Damn pretty! LV Monogram vernis with the hugeee Louis Vuitton logo. It’s like free advertising. I think it’s the logo that’s pretty. LOL Mum hesitated a lot, I tried to urge her to get it. LOL but failed, she wanted to take a look at another Toile Damier model from the new catalogue, but then…. apparently their new stocks aren’t in yet…
The photo booth section. :D Played around with it. They provided a few bags/sunglasses/scarf for you to pose with, that’s how i fell in love with the other red scarf. But in the end I took the other one, since the modeled one looks a bit too…. wise. LOL I prefer drappy scarf that gives you a wilder look; HA!

Best cocktail party ever ;) The food was nice. Interesting flavors! They should have brought in some caviars
In fact, we stayed almost throughout the cocktail. It started at 11, where we reached around 11.15~ and ends at 2pm. We left around 1.30. And headed to FUFU for some japanese ramen! WOO! Finally managed to drag my parents in there for a bite!
Right after, decided to head to Aunty Elise’s house for coffee! Tested out her new Dolce Guesto coffee machine. The one i kept pestering mum to buy! HA!!
Next stop, back to home! it’s like going to Louis Vuitton – Flying up to Heaven. Going home – Descending back to Earth, facing realities and rubbish homework!

Door gifts! In collaboration with Maison du Chocolat. I am little bit disappointed, cuz they used to give those very pretty LV Monogram printed Marble container with fragrance in it, the box is very pretty
Oh well, maybe I should have expected, it’s christmas season, best gifts are chocolates!
