Lacanau

Alrighty; here comes my oh-so-belated update on the “outing” to Lacanau sometime ago. (lol; cant even remember the date). I’ve decided to spilt them into many posts for different trips. (Be warned for the super long post)

It’s a sunday, Sunny weather- early stages of Summer, I’d say Hi, previously I was complaining about getting fresh air; ha- Auntie Kim and Uncle Daniel mentioned about going to Lacanau; somewhat 1hour+ car drive from the house… It’s a surfer’s town. Despite being a Sunday the shops are oopen hehe That’s the best thing about summer.
So first thing was to reserve a table at a restuarant. (lol i dont even know the name) Originally, it’s only because Auntie Kim wanted us to try this restuarant that’s why we went there. It’s a summer town, so we went walking around; checking out the stores 
hehe, isnt this just fun?? LOL; just randomly came across these “celebrity-style” shades.
It may look like this; but the interior’s awesome! The floor is filled with sand, all the seats are like those “sofa-ish” benches with cushions; damnn cool 
But too bad; that wasnt our restuarant~~
This one’s cool. A group of musicians, with their instruments that made beautiful sounds~~ Everyone crowded around. See that round “suit-case” thingy? Well, Dad and Uncle Wang thought that, that was meant for people to put coins if they appreciate the performance. But actually; it’s not! LOL- cos when a song finished, i guess it was the leader; she took the coins in the suitcase and gave it back to us, blush causing everyone around to burst out in laughter; In a-not-so bad way~~ It’s funny though;

Woo, finally time to settle down for some good food. Turned out AWESOME FOOD. Dad took the photo; but actually what Im looking at; is the carpark~ then the beach~~ the SEA~~ watching the waves while eating. Not bad isnt it? hehe
Red wine is something that must appear on the table if we’re eating with Uncle Daniel I’d say its the best red wine I’ve tested, thou it’s some normal local wine. Overall i prefer white ones. I dont like a certain taste in red wine. But this one’s alright. And the shade of red it has is totally different. 
I’ve tones to talk about this dish. Firstly; It’s the BEST~~ of what I would say a french cuisine would be. We didnt go for menus, but rather main dish only. Besides, the price is really expensive! From what I know, they are good in Kangeroo Steak. Heh~ Nope, made no mistakes, yes! Kangeroo Meat!
You might think it’s cruel, but from what they say, kangeroo’s population is getting too big and the govt. is also encouraging people to eat kangeroo meat. I’ve tasted kangeroo meat before. I find it quite the same as pork. So in the end; I took “Mixed Grill” which consist of Kangeroo Steak, Duck and Beef Steak. It’s better this way- so I can eat a bit of everything It’s totally yummy. Eat it with the homemade sauce ( i think it’s some kind of mushroom sauce) ~~ **floating in the clouds** yooohooo; HAHA- makes me feel like eating that again. But that plate is like freaking 21euros!! Way too expensive. Oh well; Dad was in the mood for a feast. But it seems like he didnt like it as much as I did.

Haha; Mum’s newly bought Straw hat (speaking of which, reminds me of Strawhat Luffy) At the same shop where mum got her straw hat, I saw one; very handsome strawhat, black-colored straw, I think it’s mainly for guys. But its really handsome. But but, the price’s 45euros. 
I can buy alot more clothes than just one straw hat, when it’s the summer sales now!
Time for desserts! Tom’s Apple Crumble. At first we thought it’s some sort of ice cream, but it’s actually- a pie
With me around, you cant forget the thing call Ice cream. hehe, previously- looking at the proportion of the dishes, you might think “!!!, it’s so small” but actually it’s quite enough. Well; despite being full- I cant resist the temptation of wanting ice creams. LOL~~~ So i just ordered for 1 scoop chocholate icecream~~
Oh- we ate for 1pm till 3.30+ pm; Then stroll around the other side of the shops before heading home again~~
OOh- and I’s rather good! LOL i managed to reduce the amount of extra words to type. Haaha, All for those photos; I spent almost the whole afternoon sorting them out! Sheesh~~

Finally, im getting some real business for my blog It seems like im having quite some troubles. But on well, here’s the new look that I’ve been stuck for a week, and now it’s finally working.
It’s actually my second layout- the first one i made had too many errors that I redesigned the whole thing. =( Anyway; it’s done! I should start sorting out my files to put up in the portfolio page.
And tones of photos to upload, aye- they are super late. But right now- Im going a test- cos I’d still like to be able to type in chinese. So good luck to myself; and i hope it’d really work! =]
